My Happy Place: Decus Interiors' Tamarama Home

this home belongs to a sydney-based fashion blogger. this does not surprise me at all…the level of taste and consideration in this home is ridiculously high. this tasteful blogger also had the good sense of hiring the truly talented firm of decus interiors out of woollahara…a suburb on the sydney harbour.

i am drawn to the over-all feeling of glamour through the use of brass, marble and mauve tones. i also love that the feminine elements are contrasted beautifully with rougher finishes such as the wood floors that appear to be original to the 1940’s apartment. there is something so romantic about a home that seems to have been there forever, yet is also surprisingly modern.
