I Would Stay There: The Surfrider Motel

hello friends!

i have been afflicted with the travel bug in the largest way. for those of you who follow me on instagram, you know that i have recently returned from a family getaway to the oregon coast…really so lovely. no surprise, i am ready to continue my travels…perhaps south? at the moment i am set on the surfrider motel, malibu. the surfrider possesses the very best contemporary california design, but maintains that old school 50’s surf vibe the original motel was inspired by. i do so love a fantastic boutique motel!

i picture myself lounging on the rooftop deck, and also taking in trails along the beach…which happen to be right outside the surfrider’s front (or back) door. i am in, in, in…oh and did i mention hammocks? each balcony has its own hammock. perfect.
