my happy place: a brussels mirror factory

when i was younger i had dreams of building a home out of something besides a house.  i always thought a church, an old schoolhouse or warehouse would make the most wonderful digs.  which is why i was particularly excited to see this beautiful space in brussels, created from an old mirror factory...

now that i am all grown i still think it would be pretty fantastic to build a stunning home out of anything but a traditional house.  the big difference now is that i picture little ones running through vast, beautiful rooms with echos of laughter scattered throughout. xo mrs. french
