blissful guest: East Coast Summer: Cape Ann

Hi there! I'm Jill Bent from 36 Shea, here to share a few bits of my summer with you. This summer has been a scorcher on the East Coast, and during the week I am stuck in the hot metropolis of Cambridge, Massachusetts. But on the weekends, I escape with my family to Boston's North Shore, otherwise known as Cape Ann.

We have an old summer cottage at the edge of a marsh. It belongs to my husband's family, but was abandoned for years on the back of their property. My husband and I fixed it up a few years ago and now we happily spend our weekends there swimming, boating, eating lobsters and clams and fending off mosquitoes. It is heavenly.
