my happy place...

i am typically drawn to older homes, but lately i have been wondering if maybe my dream home may be a new home.  andersson-wise, a design and architecture studio out of austin (my second favorite city), has me wondering more than usual.  i am especially mesmerized by their stone creek camp project in big fork montana (another favorite destination)...

of course the stone and woodwork are the elements that make this home so superb.  i am amazed by how, when incorporated correctly, natural elements can create a warm, inviting space...while remaining completely modern at the same time.  

andersson-wise may be the perfect studio for the job of creating a new abode for the frenches...such a nice thought. xo mrs. french
