wee wednesday: agustina woodgate

you had one right?  you had a beloved stuffed animal growing.  one that went everywhere, saw you through giggles, tears, nightmares, mud pies and countless adventures...you were inseparable.  i did, his name was "henry", he was a floppy eared dog and was loved to death.  which was why my heart melted when i came across agustina woodgate and her pepe.

pepe was so loved he inspired agustina to make the most magnificent works of art.  agustina's skin rugs are made from pelts of hundreds of stuffed companions.  it warms me to think of how much love is contained in these unique and beautiful rugs...

i suddenly have the urge to skin my henry...is that wrong? xo mrs. french
