my sister's wonderful things...

one of the best things about my sister is that she always shows me the most wonderful things and the nice thing about me is that i love to share those wonderful things will all of my blissful readers...

my sis has the most amazing taste in music and has been my honorary musical guide for as long as i can remember...some things never change.  thanks to her, i am so in love with the band poliça...the pixie of a singer is mesmerizing and the drums make my whole body vibrate...

aaaaaand...

a few years back one of my very favorite photographers posted that one of her beautiful photographs had been chosen to grace the cover of a book.  the fact that a photograph could be tied to beautiful words is such an incredible honor...which is why i am feeling pretty special at this particular moment.  my darling sister was in a local book store and came across this...

it's my photo and my shoes on a book!  i had shared my photo with getty images awhile back and it was chosen to sit on the cover on miss ellen baker's book.  a pretty pinch me moment if you ask me.
