hearth house

since i spent my morning shopping in london, i thought i should also spend my day perusing this semi-detatched house in the same city.  

those of you who have perused my boards on pinterest know that cosy fireplaces are some of my very favorite things.  which is why appropriately titled hearth house, meticulously remodelled by architects aoc, grabbed hold of my eye.  the fireplaces are truly unique and nothing short of stunning...

then there's the matter of the wood floors, sprawling staircase, and perfectly tucked bookcases!  oh and look at the playing card cutouts in the closet doors in the bottom pic.  

it's always in the details...
