francis ooi and newfound inspiration

there is special place in my heart for beautiful flora and fauna. back in the day, when we had first moved to portland, i was over-inspired...it's true, it can happen. i had never seen such beautiful flowers, seeds, leaves, stems...etc. i had to do something...so began my love affair with photography.

Then we moved. yes, we now live in the beautiful mountains...however, the plants and such around us are simply not the same. which means i haven't kept up with the photography side of things. i missed that feeling of inspiration. then, while perusing pinterest i came across the work of francis ooi. a photographer that started much as i did; inspired by his surroundings during his weekly runs he began obsessing over taking botanical photographs.

needless to say, i am so thankful for his obsession...
