an australian country home
i am a sucker for romance and i have to say this home, first profiled on the ever-lovely design files, makes my heart go pitter-patter. no surprise this home belongs to a love-at-first sight couple in rural australia: she, french beauty elise pioch balzac of maison balzac candles and he, pablo chappell of chappelli cycles. elise and pablo's home is a converted church dating back to 1880 and really is so beautiful in a completely imperfect way. i say "imperfect" because this is what i find myself drawn to again and again; worn floors, funky layouts and tons of surprises. in other words...a dream...
such a perfect way to wrap up my day...
