a beautiful inner-city cottage

there is something so incredibly dreamy about this inner-city cottage. perhaps it is the slightly country feel? or the warm details scattered about here and there? or maybe it's just all of it? i choose the latter...i feel the love put into each and everything in this home and it comes through in the photographs.

perhaps, the most important thing taken from this feature in inside out is the greatest lesson given by the the the woman who resides here:

Don’t go rushing in all at once. Accept that your living space will grow and change, and adapt while you have a growing family. I came in thinking the house needed to be a certain way, but then realised it all changes as time and life go on.

so applicable to to me at this time in my life...
