Blissful Corners: Vintage Art

if you have been following along on this blog of mine or on my instagram you may have noticed I have a thing for corners. why corners? because corners are completely manageable. when i took a look at home design, including my own, i went through a phase where i did nothing; it was all too overwhelming. then one day while working on a project with dwr i found myself styling one corner out of many in my home. a lightbulb went on and i quickly realized that a corner at a time is ridiculously doable. i also realized that as i completed one corner i was eager to move onto another and another and so on. i also realized that this corner by corner approach prevented an overly designed space, enabling me to stick with the eclectic aesthetic i have come to love throughout the years; hence "blissful corners."
i started asking you and my beloved instagram followers to start sharing blissful corners from your spaces and to tag me with #blissfulcorners. i am amazed by the beauty i am seeing and have been overcome with new feelings of inspiration! which is why i am starting a feature here on bliss...i am going to deconstruct the makings of a blissful corner with the hopes of inspiring you all as well.
i am thrilled to say that my first post is all about the addition of vintage art to the corners of your home. i believe art...especially vintage pieces create an element of interest and give visitors a direct peek into what makes a homeowner sing inspiration wise. i also think that you can go for the gusto and create a massive gallery space or you can start small piece by piece creating galleries slowly and thoughtfully or realizing that a particular piece looks lovely on its own.
the blissful corners featured here are the perfect examples of how just the right pieces can inspire small corners of your home (and mine).
