My Happy Place.
wonderful news friends! i have found my dream home and i don't need to change a thing. bad news is that it belongs to someone else. shelter design studio was brought into this project after the renovation had already begun, but had been in the good hands of architect maryann thompson and landscaping by michael van valkenburgh....definitely a dream team.
the home's clients wanted to focus on common spaces due their love of entertaining friends and relatives...the outcome speaks for itself. also take not of the handmade elements incorporated scattered throughout...some of the artisan are listed here: marshall farm wood-works, east fork pottery, greta de parry, and heath tile, along with pieces custom designed by shelter.
