My Happy Place: A 270-Square-Foot Parisian Duplex

truly, who hasn't dreamed of a parisian pied-á-terre? i have and often...in my dreams and daydreams it is much, much larger than this one. however, after stumbling upon this home 270 sq ft seems just about perfect.

it's funny that we live in what i would consider a "small space," this home is so much tinier. it is the perfect example of how less can be so much more as long as it is configured properly. editing is of the utmost importance...pair back and keep only the necessities and items that are truly loved and/or sentimental.

the owners katharina holderegger and jean-cyril rossier, with the help of designer marianne evennou transformed a space that had originally been jean-cyril's office into the perfect part-time family home. in a space this size spending more on finishes, textiles and details add can add depth and interest...i also love that the builtins seem to perform a number of tasks...
