The Italian design firm Marcante-Teste affectionately call this home “Grandma’s House.” Which, actually, seems about right. “Grandma,” in this case, has the best taste…for some reason Alice’s (the one from Wonderland) grandmother keeps popping up in my head.

Yes, I die for the wicker straw and wall paper, but mostly it’s all about the green. I have loved this hue for as long as I can remember and have tried to incorporate it as much as possible into my wardrobe. I am thinking I may need to to make a reall effort to find a space or 4 to also deck out in the grassiest green.

This is one of those homes where the more I linger, the tougher time I have pulling away. I have to believe that if a person were to surround themselves with this much whimsy, this person would have no choice but to remain young at heart.

A lovely way to accompany a lovely Wednesday afternoon.
