Newfound Giddiness for Noguchi

we have been quarantined so long, that i am revisiting bits of home interiors that i thought i had come to deem a given in the world of interior design. noguchi lanterns are obviously pretty, but i had thought that the giddiness had past. well folks, i am thrilled to say that the giddiness has returned. i blame it on ilse. designer ilse crawford designed the truly most beautiful community kitchen and dining hall, refettorio felix, in london a few years back and the images laden in noguchi lamps have me coming back again and again.

from pin to pin to pin…you know how the story goes. i was amazed by the fact that a number of my pins on pinterest also feature these beautiful lamps. i also love the fact that these fixtures look equally beautiful in a community kitchen, a living room, dining room or bedroom. apparently, i have always been hooked, i am just excited about noguchi lanterns yet again…which i could use a lot more excitement nowadays…
